Editor's review
This is a Office add-in that helps send documents to one Note.
Bring to OneNote is similar to Send to OneNote add-in. However, functionality wise this has more value add. In Word and Excel you can only send to One note documents in printout formats only. Another plug-in such as Linked Notes add-in sets a link to the document in the note, that refers to this document. The printout format of the document lets the document to be viewed and searched, users cannot do any editing to it. The linked note is just a link, you cannot even search the contents of the linked document. Thus, either leaves something to be desired. By contrast this tool, the “bring to One-note” sends the document as a text output to One Note. Excel documents are sent to the One Note as pure tables. In either form not only the content could be searched, they could be edited too.
The interface is well laid out, making it easy to use; even a complete beginner should be able to start using it quickly. Through the “bring to one note” pop up you could access the documents to be brought into the One Note. It is as simple as selecting the item and clicking the “ok” button. The product has several other components available that help bring content from the browser pages such as Firefox, Chrome as also from the mail client Thunderbird. The application is compatible with Windows versions and Office products versions up to 2010. This is a simple but quite useful niche application.
